17 Not for Acute Attacks: Doxophylline is NOT for use as an emergency medicine to treat acute asthma attacks or status asthmaticus.
18 A fast-acting inhaler is required for rescue therapy.Cardiovascular Risk: Use with caution in patients with a history of acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) or hypotension, as it can cause tachycardia (rapid heart rate) and other cardiac arrhythmias, especially in case of overdose.
