ℹ️ Precautions & Safety Notes

• Risk of genital and urinary infections: Common side effects include female genital mycotic infections and urinary tract infections—uphold proper hygiene, especially in women. 

• Volume depletion & hypotension: May cause dehydration and low blood pressure, particularly in patients on diuretics or with pre-existing volume depletion; correct dehydration before starting therapy. 

• Possible ketoacidosis risk: Rare cases of euglycemic diabetic ketoacidosis have been reported; monitor for symptoms such as nausea, fatigue, rapid breathing, or mental changes. 

• Lipid and renal caution: Watch for small increases in LDL cholesterol. Not recommended in severe renal impairment (eGFR < 45 mL/min/1.73 m²). Renal function should be assessed before and during treatment.
