Tendon Rupture ($\text{BBW}$): Fluoroquinolones carry a Black Box Warning for an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture (including the Achilles tendon). This risk is higher in patients over $60$, those on steroids, or transplant recipients. Discontinue the drug and avoid exercise immediately if you experience pain, swelling, or inflammation in a tendon.
Peripheral Neuropathy: This drug can cause irreversible peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage). Report symptoms like pain, burning, tingling, or numbness immediately.
Drug Interactions: Avoid taking this tablet with dairy products, antacids, or mineral supplements (e.g., calcium, iron, zinc), as these can drastically reduce Ofloxacin absorption. Separate administration by at least 2 to 6 hours
