ℹ️ Precautions & Safety Notes

• Contraindications: Avoid in patients with known hypersensitivity to ivermectin. Not recommended for children under ~15 kg or those with seizure disorders, or during pregnancy unless benefits clearly outweigh risks 

• Drug interactions: Rare cases of increased INR have been observed when co-administered with warfarin; close monitoring advised .

• Side effects: Generally mild—fatigue, dizziness, gastrointestinal upset (nausea, diarrhea), rash, pruritus. In onchocerciasis, joint pain, lymph node enlargement, fever, and ocular irritation may occur. Serious reactions like Stevens–Johnson syndrome or hypotension are rare but documented .
