✅ Product Benefits

  • Potent vitamin D₃ therapy: Each capsule delivers 20,000 IU of cholecalciferol—ideal for rapid correction of deficiency over weeks

Structured dose protocol: Recommended regimen includes once‑weekly 40,000 IU for 7 weeks for deficiency, then maintenance (1,400–2,000 IU/day) or 20,000 IU every 4 weeks for prevention, depending on target serum 25‑hydroxyvitamin D levels

  • Essential for bone & dental health: Promotes calcium and phosphate absorption critical for mineralization, reducing risk of rickets, osteomalacia, and osteoporosis

  • Convenient weekly/monthly dosing: Especially useful for patients with limited sun exposure or poor dietary intake needing periodic high‑dose supplementation.

  • Supports special indications: Used as adjunct in osteoporosis, hypoparathyroidism, pseudohypoparathyroidism, and familial hypophosphatemia under medical supervision

Generally well tolerated: Common side effects (if any) are mild, such as nausea, dry mouth, constipation, headache, or fatigue; serious adverse effects are rare when taken correctly

  • Evidence-based monitoring: Guidance recommends serum 25‑hydroxyvitamin D measurement 3–4 months after starting maintenance to confirm adequacy and adjust dose as needed .

ℹ️ Important Precautions & Safety Notes

  • Hypercalcemia risk: Excess vitamin D₃ can lead to hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, tissue calcification, kidney stones—monitor calcium levels especially with prolonged use

  • Drug interactions: Intake of thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides (e.g. digoxin), antiepileptics (phenobarbital, phenytoin), glucocorticoids, or absorption inhibitors (cholestyramine, mineral oil, orlistat) may impact vitamin D efficacy or safety

  • Use in special populations: Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver disorders, sarcoidosis, hyperparathyroidism, lymphoma, or granulomatous diseases. Levels should be monitored, especially in pregnancy or lactation

  • Follow medical advice: High-dose vitamin D3 should only be used under physician supervision. Overuse can lead to vitamin D toxicity and long-term harm
